Referring to the 100th foundation day of the Sangh, he said that 100 years ago, an organization became the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Prime Minister Modi further said that Sudarshan Chakra will develop a multi-layered framework that will protect Indian citizens and the country's infrastructure from enemy attacks, which will also protect against advanced surveillance and cyber attacks.
Prime Minister Modi praised RSS and said that 100 years of service to the nation is a glorious, golden chapter. RSS is the world's largest NGO. And has a history of 100 years of dedication. The people of the RSS have been serving the nation for 100 years and the RSS has an important contribution in the country's 100-year journey.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Sudarshan Chakra will be largely similar to Israel's Iron Dome and the proposed Golden Dome of the US, which will also work as a missile defense shield. He announced that India will prepare its own defense system.
Regarding the national interest, Prime Minister Narendra Modi further said that he called for creating a 'prosperous India' by becoming gold-rich in all fields including artificial intelligence, energy, fighter jet engines. In an important announcement in the defense sector, he also announced the preparation of 'Sudarshan Chakra' as a part of the country's space security as a part of the country's security umbrella. Modi's 12th Independence Day address focused on the idea that 'self-reliance' is the only option when the US is pushing for protectionist policies in trade. Modi's 103-minute speech on Independence Day was longer than all his previous 11 speeches.
With the US imposing a 50 per cent tariff on imports from India, Modi called for self-reliance and innovation in semiconductors, social media, fertilisers and pharma. Without directly mentioning tariffs, he stressed on gold-dependence and adoption of indigenous products. A task force will be formed to suggest reforms needed to make India a developed nation by 2047. Modi said that in times of crisis, instead of worrying, we should improve our capabilities and achievements. The mantra of Indian manufacturers should be 'price less, price more'.
For the first time on this occasion, Modi raised the issue of infiltration and said that infiltration is a challenge to the unity, integrity and security of the country. A conspiracy has been hatched to disrupt the country's population equations. The seeds of a new crisis are being sown. This will not be allowed to happen. No country can tolerate infiltrators. Terrorists and those who shelter them will be treated equally and the Indian Army will decide the punishment for any terrorist act by a neighboring country, Modi said. India has endured blackmail about nuclear bombs for many years but will not do so now, Modi said.
Modi said that the security circle system will not only thwart the enemy's attack but will also strike back with double force, Modi said.
