Ukraine Russia War: Ukrainian President Zelensky said that he is ready to cooperate to end the war with Russia. After talks with Trump, Zelensky announced that he would go to Washington on Monday. According to the Axios report, Trump told Zelensky that, 'Vladimir Putin prefers a comprehensive peace agreement to a ceasefire.' After this, Zelensky supported Trump's proposal that a trilateral meeting should be held between the US, Russia and Ukraine.

Zelensky said, 'Ukraine is fully committed to bringing peace. Important issues should be discussed at the level of leaders and the trilateral format is suitable for this. The presence of European leaders is necessary at every stage, so that strong security guarantees can be ensured.' This is being seen as his distrust of Trump.
No agreement was reached on the Russia-Ukraine ceasefire in the Trump-Putin meeting held in Alaska. After this, Trump spoke with Zelensky and other European leaders on his way back to Washington from Alaska. This conversation with the Ukrainian leader lasted more than an hour. According to Axios, Trump is believed to have asked Zelensky to negotiate a quick peace agreement instead of a ceasefire.

Zelensky supports trilateral meeting

Zelensky said that he had a long and meaningful conversation with President Trump. He also supported Trump's proposal for a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, Russia and the United States. Zelensky tweeted that, 'Ukraine reaffirms its readiness to work with all its might to establish peace.'

The meeting with Putin went well, now Zelensky will meet

US President Trump said, 'It was a great and successful day in Alaska. The meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin was very good, as were the late-night talks with Ukrainian President Zelensky and several European leaders, including the NATO Secretary General. All agreed that the best way to end the Russia-Ukraine war is to move directly towards a peace agreement, not just a ceasefire, which often doesn’t last.’
He said, ‘President Zelensky will be in the Oval Office (White House) on Monday afternoon. If all goes well, a meeting with President Putin will be scheduled. This could save millions of lives.’
