India-US Trade War Escalates: America has issued an official notification regarding additional 25 percent i.e. total 50 percent tariff on goods imported from India. The new tariff will be applicable from 12.01 am on August 27, 2025.

Negotiations were going on between India and America regarding a trade deal which failed. On the other hand, US President Donald Trump says that India buys oil from Russia due to which the war in Ukraine is not stopping. After which America announced to impose a total of 50 percent tariff on India. A 50 percent tariff will be levied on goods going from India to America.
