Iran hit U.S. Military Assets: A ceasefire is underway between Iran and the United States, but a truth about the fierce war that has erupted has now come to light that has shocked the world. A new analysis of satellite images has revealed that Iran has carried out the deadliest attacks on American military bases in the Middle East to date.

Heavy damage to 228 American military equipment

According to a Washington Post report, at least 228 military structures and equipment have been destroyed or severely damaged since the start of the war. This number is much higher than the figures officially accepted by the American government.

Targeting American military bases around Iran

Iran has not only targeted buildings in these attacks, but has directly attacked America's 'digital nervous system', i.e., communication and security systems. Analysis of satellite imagery shows that the following were among the damaged items: A refueling tanker and an E-3 Sentry aircraft were damaged at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. Patriot missile defense systems deployed in Kuwait and Bahrain and THAAD radar installations in Jordan and the UAE were targeted. Fuel depots, barracks, gyms and dining halls were also reduced to rubble at several locations. Critical satellite communications centers and radars at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar were severely damaged.

The US government hid the truth

The study also revealed that the US administration had greatly underestimated the damage. While the government claimed victory, the ground reality is that the US Navy's 5th Fleet headquarters in Bahrain and three headquarters in Kuwait have suffered more than half the damage. According to the report, at least 7 American soldiers have been killed and more than 400 wounded in the war that began in February.

Soft Target Iranian Strategy

Defense experts say that Iran deliberately chose locations that are strategically most expensive and scarce for the US. Instead of directly attacking the radar area, they targeted buildings where data processing, cooling systems and power generation facilities were located. This means that even if the radars remain safe, the system that runs them is out of order. According to analyst William Goodhand, Iran also targeted 'soft targets', i.e. soldiers' residences, to cause maximum damage.

Actual losses 40-50 billion dollars

According to the Pentagon, the US has had to bear about 25 billion dollars in this war so far, but confidential sources believe that the actual losses could be around 40-50 billion dollars (about 4 lakh crore rupees). Due to the heavy destruction, the US has had to reduce staff at several bases. Although President Trump has talked about stopping some military operations in an attempt to reach an agreement through negotiations, there is no sign of reducing tension on the ground.
